Last week I received a package in the mail from Mute Records via Music Glue. It was the new Ben Frost record, Scope Neglect. It’s his first proper studio album since 2017’s The Centre Cannot Hold. At the time I ranked it the number #5 album on my annual Top 100 list, and mentioned how other than J. Spaceman he was the musician I thought was creating the most exciting and interesting music. Between that album and his television and film scores, every piece of music he created was fantastic.
